Project Narrative
Erected inside an existing building at the Naval Base San Diego, this ConXL structure includes main frame steel, stairs and elevator components to facilitate a new warship training facility for the US Navy. ConXtech has done work for the US Navy in the past, erecting a naval lodging facility out of ConXR on North Island, Coronado in San Diego.
ConX Solutions
The ConX System is designed to be erected safer, faster and greener than traditional methods – making it well suited for the stringent federal building code requirements, constrained site conditions and tight schedule on this project. The ConX System was the ideal answer with its quick assembly and small layout footprint. The ConX System’s conformity to federal building codes, including IBC, also made it an excellent fit. ConX was a great choice to accommodate the open floor plan which was designed by the client to include large, open bays.
This project has a ConXL 400 chassis:
